Fourth of July 2014

We spent the Fourth of July in Belton with my family this year. If you are in Belton, you have to go to the parade on the morning of the 4th. It is a must. So, we went. And we had quite the crew!!

It was fun, but hot!! The kids were all given matching t-shirts by a sweet friend of the family and they looked adorable!!

We didn't have to wait long for the parade to start. I love this picture - very Texas Fourth of July:

Gabe thoroughly enjoyed the parade. He yelled, "Happy 4th!" to all of the entries!

And they often yelled it back!

Being so close to Ft. Hood, there are always soldiers in the parade - and they always get a standing ovation!

Natalia liked the parade, too! This is my favorite picture of the day:

She is a photogenic little bug!

Adrik was ready for the parade to be over before it started - it was just so hot!

There are always some great entries...

Living history:

And some eclectic entries as well.....

After the parade we went to Mom's house for some hot dogs and hamburgers and a bake-off .... but I am going to need another post for that!

Hope you all had a Happy 4th as well!
