Gabe's Senior Picture

I can't believe that Gabe's Graduation is just around the corner! We actually have 24 days until his ceremony. It's unreal!

Gabe has always had a sunny personality. He is always wearing a smile, but also just genuinely joyful!

He is the kind of kid that sees people on the outside and draws them in. He wants everyone included and goes out of his way to make that happen.

Gabe will be attending Dallas Baptist University - it is SUCH a good fit for him! Their mascot is the Patriot!!

He wants to do their Pre-Law program majoring in Philosophy, Political Science and Economics (PPE) and minoring in Law Studies.

But music will also always be a part of his life. Gabe wanted to do his senior pictures at places that were meaningful to him through high school. Pender's is his favorite store.

The Square is a place his friends and our family likes to hang out. LSA has the best burgers ever and this cool piano stairway!

He has taken dual credit at NCTC starting his sophomore year. This year, he has had a class there on the Denton Square.

This was a recreated picture from Gabe's 8th birthday:

We did his cap and gown pictures outside of his favorite coffee shop where he attended World View Classes for 3 years.

And of course while there, he had to grab some coffee.

Wow!! They say that they grow up so fast and now, being on this end of it, it is SO so true. These last 17 years have not been enough. Gabe is a delight and a joy to have as a son and it has been a pure gift to be his parents. God is going to do great things through him. I can't wait to watch it happen!

Easter 2023

We had a pretty low-key Easter this year. We went to church and then came home for lunch. Byron cooked a ham in the smoker and it was delicious!

I got the kids Slam Ball for Easter and we had so much fun playing together!

Then we had our annual Easter Egg Hunt.

We also played baseball with our confetti eggs.

It was a fun day!
