Cruise Excursions

We had three ports of call on our cruise. The first was Roatan, Honduras.

While we were in Roatan we did a zip-line excursion. Oh, my goodness, it was so FUN!! Here is a little video I put together of our zip-lining:

The next morning we went to Costa Maya, Mexico and did a dolphin encounter.

Our last stop was Cozumel, Mexico where we snorkeled. We went out to the Palancar Reef and then to a starfish sanctuary. The starfish were so beautiful!!

Such great memories made on our cruise!!

Cruise Formal Nights

We had two formal nights on our cruise - Tuesday and Friday. Since we were celebrating our anniversary I wore a white lacy dress and Byron wore a suite with a white tie.

The Linns were in white and black, too!!

Don't we make a lovely group?

On the second formal night, I wore a black lace dress and Byron wore a light yellow shirt under his black suit. These pictures were taken in our dining room.

Speaking of dining, except for the first night, we ate dinner in the formal dining room each evening. The dinners were all awesome! One night we all tried escargot - and everyone liked it!! My favorite meal was turkey and dressing with mashed sweet potatoes. Byron enjoyed the lobster. The best dessert was the warm chocolate cookie. YUM!

Our waiters were also fabulous! Their names are William and Paul. They would anticipate our needs before we asked, brought us extras when we ran low and knew we would always finish the meal with coffee.

We were totally spoiled on our cruise!

All Aboard the Cruise Ship Liberty!

Byron and I celebrated our 20th Anniversary in a BIG way!
We went on a Royal Caribbean Cruise!

On June 17th we drove down to Galveston with our sweet friends, Chuck and Gina Linn. We had the best time ever! We talked (uninterrupted by kids for hour after hour), laughed, and relaxed. It was awesome!

When we got to our room we discovered that the kids had used their spend money to have our room decorated. So sweet!

We had a balcony room right next to Chuck and Gina and had our cabin steward open our decks up. We would spend the morning and the evenings out on the deck hanging out and chatting.

Our room was so beautiful and quite spacious. I unpacked all of our suitcases and made it our home for the week.

As we pulled away from Galveston, we saw a rainbow over the ocean - it signaled the start of a great vacation.
