Amanda is getting married!!

Amanda and Brian are getting married in April and we are so excited!

Amanda is my step-sister and the youngest of the three of us. After Thanksgiving I had the privilege to take some engagement pictures of them.

Amanda and Brian are a beautiful couple. I had such a good time taking their pictures - even though it was chilly and drizzly.

Brian with his police dog, Rex.
Aren't they handsome?

The whole family! Amanda with Brody and Brian with Rex.:)

We are so excited about their upcoming wedding and so happy to be adding Brian (and Rex) to the family!

Congratulations, Amanda and Brian!!! We love you!

Christmas at the Serna House

We had a full and fun Christmas! The Stepanovs came up from Georgetown on Friday and then GiGi and PopPop arrived on Saturday morning - Christmas Eve. We took a hike in the woods and baked cookies for Santa.

We opened our new Christmas jammies from Aunt Amanda and had a hot cocoa party in our pjs!

Santa arrived sometime that night - he sure had a bunch of stockings to fill!!!

On Christmas morning, the kids walked into the living room and saw their gifts on the fireplace - but Baylor was the most excited! He snatched up his bone right away!

Mig asked Santa for a camouflage recliner for his quiet time - sounds like Papaw!! HA!

As soon as all the grown ups were up, the kids opened their Santa gifts. Flip-a-zoos were a big hit this year!

Faith got a kindle!

Mig was SUPER excited that Santa put Rockin' with Rhett's new CD in his stocking!

After breakfast the kids opened their presents.

Charli Kate and Tali thought it was hilarious that they got each other the same gift!! SO CUTE!

Aunt Jackie totally gets these kids! She picks the perfect shoes every time!

And the blankets from Aunt Barbie Q. Were a huge hit as well!

We went to church and then the grown ups opened gifts.

Byron has a new obsession for camouflage.

PopPop finally gets to try out the as seen on TV "My Pillows"

Did I mention that the dogs had Christmas, too? Penny (the Stepanov dog) and Frankie also came to spend Christmas with Baylor and all of them were spoiled rotten along with the kids.

What a blessing to spend Christmas weekend with our family!!!

Merry Christmas 2016!

When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy. Matthew 2:10

May your hearts also be filled with joy this season. Merry Christmas!!
Love,
The Sernas

It's a great year to be a Cowboy loving family!

And since Baylor wouldn't cooperate for our family photo - here's a picture of just him. :)

Christmas Programs Galore!!

This December has been FILLED to the brim with Christmas programs! We started on December 3rd with Selah and Mig's choir program at the mall.

It was beautiful! Here are a few songs from their concert:

The next night, Faith had her first Christmas Concert where she played an angel.

This is also the choir that I direct.

Here is the video of her performance:

On December 10th, Gabe had his choir concert. They performed for our church's Senior Life ministry for senior citizens.

At the end of their concert, they lead the congregation in some Christmas Carols. As I was taking pictures of the choir, I head this sweet little voice singing all of the words to O Come All Ye Faithful!! Adorable!!

Here is the video of Gabe's Concert:

Finally, on December 11th, our homeschool group presented a Christmas Pageant for our church's AWANA group.

They are the sweetest group of kids EVER!! Gabe was a narrator, Selah played Mary, Mig was a king and Faith was a lost shepherd, ha!! She was really just a shepherd, but she ended up looking lost the whole time she was on stage! So funny! It is only about 8 minutes long - and so cute! Watch it here:

Such a full, but meaningful December!
