We Celebrated Byron's birthday at the beginning of this month and with all of the excitement around here I am just now getting a chance to post the pictures.
Byron got home from work a little early and he grilled some hamburgers for us. After dinner he opened a few presents.
Selah made him a home-made card. (Maybe taking a few tips from Aunt Jackie and Barbie Q?)
After the presents we went on a walk - the weather was beautiful! After the walk we headed home to enjoy a piece of pound cake.
I am so glad to be able to celebrate this great man on his birthday every year!
That evening we also got word that our home study report was accepted by our adoption agency! We are still waiting on the final report to be in our hands. Hopefully that will be soon. In the meantime we are going to be sending our first round of documents to Austin and Houston to be certified and authenticated by the Secretary of State and the Chinese Consulate. We just have a few more things to mark off of our checklist before our dossier is ready to be sent to China!!
