The first weekend of May also brought the final Kids Praise Concert for the Serna Family. Next year Faith will move up to the Middle School Concert (although I will still direct the preschoolers).
Faith was a part of a quartet.
She also completed the Hymns in My Heart program. In 5 years she memorized 50 hymns and 50 Bible verses. She was awarded a Bible inscribed with her name.
That night was also the final night of AWANAs for Gabe. He was a Cubbie LIT for 8 years and absolutely loved it!
He and Selah led their music and Bible story time together.
The following weekend was the AWANA Awards night where Gabe was presented with a Citation AWARD (which came with a $12,000 scholarship!)
Selah is well on her way to finishing her citation as well.
Faith completed the T and T program and is heading to Trek.
Mig has one more year in Trek before going to Journey.
Gabe was honored that the AWANA missionary, Steve Bell, came to watch him receive his Citation!
What a blessing to have our kids be a part of KidsPraise and AWANA!
