Last week we celebrated the end of our Home School Year by having a party!!
We decorated our front room with art projects and work that the kids did throughout the school year.
Then we had a pizza party in our formal dinning area. (Selah now calls this room the "party room".) After dinner the kids each had a presentation for Daddy - it was their end of year final project. Selah chose to read a picture book. Last year she read a short phonics book. This year she read an entire story - and did a great job! Gabriel presented a power point presentation on the Dead Sea Scrolls and Mig sang Jesus Loves Me. They each also recited a Bible verse of their choice and together they sang a song we learned in Mandarin. After the presentations, our Principal Daddy presented them each with a certificate of completion for the grade they were in.
Selah has been promoted to First Grade!
Gabe has now been promoted to Third Grade!!

After the promotion ceremony, we enjoyed some yummy home-made cookies! It was a great year! I can't wait to start back up again in the fall!!
