Last Day of Homeschool 2021

   


Our last day of school was May 21st this year!























We celebrated that evening with Daddy by presenting something each kid learned this year and enjoyed.
Faith shared about the spinal cord.


Mig shared about the Black Plague.


He also created a really cool, interactive plague simulation.




Selah shared a report about Eliza Hamilton.



Gabe shared about Machiavelli's The Prince.


We ended our school year with a unit study on Greek Mythology and Greek Gods. Each child created their own Greek toga to wear and presented a project about one of the gods.

After the presentations Daddy presented their certificates of promotion to the next grade.

Then it was time for extra awards:



With an extra special surprise - Gabe was awarded a scholarship to cover a dual credit class at our local community college next semester!!! Praise the LORD! He will be taking a Statistics class! 


GiGi and PopPop were able to join us for the celebration virtually again this year!

We ended the evening with a Pizza Toga party!!


The following Thursday, Gabe's Worldview had their final class. One more year and then he will complete this intensive program!


It is exciting that things are starting to get back to normal.
