5 years ago in November, 10 families traveled together from all over the US to China to adopt 11 children. We formed a bond in that country that will last forever. This summer we celebrated 5 years of these kids being in our forever families with a reunion in Kansas City, Missouri.
Dragon fruit was everywhere in China, so we had some on the first night of our reunion, too.
There was a bounce house and a outdoor movie screen.
Mig and Miles met each other for the first time two years ago when we camped near their house. They became fast buds!
We at Kansas City Barbecue and all the kids got to know each other.
There was a water balloon fight.
Everyone had a blast!!
Of the 10 families, only 5 were able to make it to the reunion, but boy - 5 familes with a lot of kiddos!

At dusk, snow cones were served.
Then it was movie time! They watched Mary Poppins Returns.
It was SO AWESOME to see these families again. I got choked up each time a family arrived.
