On May 2nd Mig and Faith's choir performed their Spring Concert.
This is Mig's last year in Kids Praise! Next year he will be in Middle School Choir!
This was my 6th year directing the Pre-Kindergarten choir. Their concert was about how to be a Champion of Faith. They are SO precious!!
The 1st-5th Graders presented Route 66 - a journey through all 66 books of the Bible.
Mig played the role of "Hero" - a boy sold out for God that helps explain the meta-narrative of the Bible to his friend, "Howie".
In 2015 Gabe played "Howie"!
Faith also had a speaking part!
One really cool part about this concert was the "Walk Through the Bible". The kids (Pre-K through 5th grade) presented the Bible story in motions from Creation to Revelation.

The program concluded with an awards ceremony. Each year the kids are challenged to memorize 10 hymns and 10 verses to go along with the hymns each year. By the 5th grade they have memorized 50 hymns and verses.

Faith received her 3rd year award - a trophy.
Mig received his 5th year award - a Bible engraved with his name.
