Byron had a work trip to San Antonio over labor day weekend and I got to tag along!!
We were able to stay right on the Riverwalk and spent a lot of our time walking up and down it.
On the day Byron had to work he booked a facial for me at a gorgeous and relaxing spa. I have never felt so pampered in my life!! It was amazing! I spent the rest of the day studying for the 2 year Bible Program I am doing (I'm in year 2!!)
One of the coolest things we got to do was kayak on the river. It was a very scenic, less touristy section of the river and it was so beautiful and relaxing!
We ate a lot of good food - especially Mexican food. My favorite was at Mi Tierra on the Market Square.
We spent one evening at an Irish Pub where we ate authentic Irish cuisine and listened to the piano player sing and play (and entertain).
It was a nice little get away!
