Christmas Day 2025

We had a sweet, simple Christmas eating, playing games, giving gifts and enjoying each other's company.

I was way behind schedule with our Christmas Cards and video this year - it was hard to get all 6 of us in one place at one time! We finally found a weekend (the one right after Thanksgiving) and ran to the back road for pictures. We also learned and videoed our song that same weekend. Christmas cards went out just in time to be delivered before Christmas Day. Phew!! 

This was my first time shooting a video with multiple screens/views at once. It is not perfect - somehow 2 of the screens were mirrored -  but it is sweet. The girls and I were asked to do music for the Women's Ministry Christmas Gathering and the three of us did the song "Wonderful" by CAIN. For our video we invited the Serna Men to join us and fill it in. I think it turned out beautifully. Hope you enjoy it too. 

 

Christmas Choir Performances

 

Our December was full of Christmas Choir Concerts.

The first weekend of December the Kids Praise and Middle School Choirs performed at the mall. 

It was my first time doing this as coordinator and it went so smoothly!! 

I was nervous directing such a large choir. 

But they did amazing!!! 

I even got to direct a song my choir did with the Middle School. 

Faith's choir did a great job, too and she even sang a solo!!

Then the High School (Student) Choir did a concert on the Denton Square. 

It was COLD that day!!!

On Christmas Eve Gabe, Selah and I sang in the Christmas Eve Service.

It was cool doing it all together!! 

What a blessing to be in such an amazing music ministry!! 

Gabe is 20!!

Today Gabe turns 20!!

It's hard to believe that we are old enough to have a 20 year old kid!

Gabe is still killing it in the debate circle and loving life at DBU. He will be graduating in May and then heading to law school! Craziness!! We are super proud of him for sure!

Faith is Fourteen!

Can you believe Faith is 14?!?

She is spunky and joyful!

She loves cooking and hopes to be a chef one day. 

She is a social butterfly and has lot of friends.
