The 4th of July was on a Tuesday this year and I was very disappointed to hear that all of the area parades and celebrations were on Saturday instead of the actual 4th of July.
But we made the most of it. We opted not to go to the parade. We did, however go to view fireworks from the dam! We also got to see an amazing sunset!
It turned out to be a perfect location. From where we were we could see various shows all around the lake!
On the 4th of July we had some of our favorite friends over for hotdogs, sparklers and water games!
We played kids versus parents. The kids won!!!
We all had fun, though! There was a lot of laughter!
And it was a good way to stay cool on a hot summer day!
We had lots of fun with sparklers, too!
