Our Last Day of Homeschool 2026

 

Our official last day of homeschool was May 14th and we celebrated after Gabe's Graduation.

Faith did a presentation of her research paper on why the dropping of the atomic bombs were justified.

Mig presented the views of Hell according to Greek mythology, Dante and a Christian Worldview

Even though Selah and Gabe a graduated and don't have to do a presentation, they wanted to participate, too! Selah talked about the musical, Moulin Rouge through the lens of Psychology and especially Maslow's Hierarchy of needs. 

Gabe's presentation was on The Soviet Union's Grand Strategy in the TV show Stranger Things.

After the presentations Byron gave their certificates of promotion.

Then we had a pizza party!!

On May 14th Gabe graduated Summa Cum Laude from Dallas Baptist University!

He had SO many friends come to celebrate and congratulate him!!

SO proud!! 

David and Kathie also came and celebrated with us!! 

After the ceremony we went to Papadaeux to celebrate his amazing accomplishment!! 

Prom 2026!

All of Mig's friends liked taking pictures at our house so much last year that this year they asked if they could take pictures here again AND if they could all get ready together at our house. 

Teens started arriving at 8:30 am!! They spent the day together, ate pizza and got beautiful. We took pictures and then they left for the big dance together! It ended up being a really sweet time.

Mig is really into hot pink this year. It looked so good on him, too! 

At prom, they pretty much stayed together! Isn't that sweet?

The theme this year was the 7 Wonders of the World

He said they all had a blast!!
