Next Stop - Law School!!

 

On May 14th Gabe will be graduating from Dallas Baptist University!

His best memories there have been on the Debate Team where he really excelled - even placing nationally!

He will be graduating with a Bachelor's of Arts in Politics, Philosophy and Economics with a minor in Legal Studies. 

He has also made some amazing friends along the way!

Even though he didn't formally study music - he took some music composition classes and made some beautiful compositions and arrangements. 

Gabe's next step is Baylor Law!

And we are proud to announce that not only was he admitted, he received a 

FULL TUITION scholarship!! 

We are SO proud of you, Gabe!!! Sic 'em! 

Another 70th Birthday surprise!

On April 1st, PopPop (Dad G/George) turned 70!!

Somehow we were able to pull off another birthday surprise! He knew that Byron, the kids and I were going to meet him for lunch in Belton - but he didn't know that his sister, Jackie, Amanda and Brian would be there, too!! 

Faith made him a cake and we had a great time celebrating him!!

The celebration was over way too fast! 

How lucky are we to get to have this man in our lives?!? 

 

Easter 2026

We started Easter 2026 with attending church in our Easter bests.

Silliness.....

We had chicken fajitas for lunch and then an Easter egg hunt. 

Gabe found all 13 eggs first! His first time to win in 20 years! But Selah found the prize egg. 

Then we each took turns hitting confetti eggs with a bat. 

 We ended the day with a beautiful walk by the lake.
