Byron and I vacationed in Branson at the beginning of the month and it was an amazing trip!
Our first stop when we got there was the Titanic Museum!
The museum itself looks like the front end of the Titanic. It is so cool!!
Upon arriving we were given boarding passes of real Titanic passengers. We learned at the end whether or not our passenger survived the wreck.
Elizabeth survived along with her young daughter.
Simon did not survive.
The museum had interactive exhibits and so many pictures and original relics.
It also had rooms that were replicated from the ship.
Including the Grand Staircase,
One of my favorite parts was an exhibit dedicated to the movie. It had the original wood piece that Rose floated on until she boarded the life boat. They projected a life-size image of Kate Winslet onto the board, too. It was pretty neat!
Our hotel was on the Branson Landing and our room overlooked the fountains. That evening we ate dinner on the Landing and walked did a little shopping at the Landing.
