We love to celebrate Cinco de Mayo!! The kids love talking about their Spanish/Mexican heritage and culture and celebrating Cinco de Mayo is celebrating them!
We made easy brown bag pinatas as a fun craft.
We just grab a couple of handfuls of candy and throw them in the bags, then we roll up the top, secure it with some staples and punch holes for hanging. Then we cut fringes in crepe paper strips and glued the strips on the bags from the bottom up.
They turned out so festive!
The best part of course is beating them open!
We also ate enchiladas, flan and pan dulce while we listened to mariachi music.
It was such a fun evening!
