Retirement Party

On July 31, we headed down to Central Texas to celebrate Byron's dad as he heads into retirement.

The party was held in the Bell County Courthouse in one of the Courtrooms. 

So many people came out to thank Dad in his service as a Legal Aid Attorney.

He received some certificates for his work.

And a lot of hugs! This is the staff at Legal Aid of Central Texas where Dad Serna worked for 35 years.

And, of course, what is a retirement party without a Mariachi Band?!?

Ever since Gabe's musical (set in a courthouse) he has been very interested in all things legal. He was so excited to be going into a real courthouse and even more excited that we had the run of a real courtroom. He looks pretty good in that judges' seat!
