I can't believe I am already 6 months pregnant! I am finally feeling better and gaining weight - as you can see!!
Gabe loves to talk to baby Selah and feel her kick his cheek!!

Our Easter and my new car!!

We had a nice Easter. We went to church, then I made a nice lunch. Gabe took a long nap and then we hid Easter Eggs for him. He had so much fun finding all those eggs!!
On Monday we went and got this!
It is going to be so nice to have my own set of wheels again!

Gabe loves "Mommy's Blue Truck"!

Selah's bedding

Here is Selah's new bedding! Pink and brown...it is sooooo beautiful in person!

Gi Gi's Visit

Momma came to visit us for her Spring Break! We had a great time! We bought a lot of things for Selah while she was here....I'll have to post pics of those later. We took Gabe to his first movie at the theater (Horton Hears a Who) and we even went to a birthday party! Here are some pictures of her trip....
Momma and I at Chuck E. Cheese for Averianna Featherston's 4th birthday! MMmmmmm...."happy cake"!
Momma, Uncle Mike and Aunt Susan at Helga's German Restaurant....Uncle Herb makes GREAT pretzels!
Sorry that this one is sideways.... Gi Gi and Gabe playing Whack-a-Mole.
I think Momma had more fun than Gabe did at Chuck E. Cheese!!

We have a name....

After a week of being totally clueless on what we would name our "surprise" baby girl, we have finally decided. Her name will be:

Selah Vivianne Serna

Selah (pronounced "Say-lah") comes from the Psalms and is also the name of one of our favorite vocal groups. Vivianne is in honor of my grandmother - Vivian McCleskey, a beautiful and strong lady the whole family adores.

It's a GIRL!?!

What a surprise we got today! We went in for our 20 week ultrasound only to find out that "Baby Ben" is a girl!!! We told the tech that we were pretty sure it was a boy so she was very thorough at showing us that there definately aren't any boy parts there. She is beautiful! We got to see her stick out her tongue, wave, play with her hands (Granny - I think she is going to be a knitter) and suck her thumb!! She is also very lady-like. After we were certain that she is NOT a boy, she crossed her legs at the ankle. Most of all, she seems to be very healthy. Our heads are still spinning, though. We didn't have any girl names ready and had already planned out "his" nursery....we already have our work cut out for us!

Here she is sucking her thumb. I couldn't resist putting a pink bow on her head.
Guess we can't call her "Baby Ben" anymore!
