Serna Family Reunion

The second weekend of October was one full of extended family!

We had a Serna Family Reunion in Belton!

We visited the grave of Byron's mom and dad.

Family stories were shared.

The kids got some pool time.

And the grown-ups (and older kids) played Fish Bowl.

It was FULL of laughs!

We played so many rounds of it!

The next day we had a little family football game.

Mig is 14!!

Mig turns 14 tomorrow! How time has flown. This year he is still loving Civil Air Patrol and has eased right into high school.

Since joining CAP last year he has made all the promotions he can and will be a Master Sergeant on Monday! He is a Flight Sergeant and is on the path to becoming Cadet Commander within a few years.

This year he also started cross country and has run a 5K every month since July. He even placed 2nd in his last 5K!

He is a likeable kid and has a lot of great friends. He is still is my mischief with a smile. We are SO blessed by the 14 years he has been alive!
