CAP Encampment - Summer 2024

At the end of June Mig had the amazing opportunity to attend a week long CAP Encampment where he got a boot camp type experience and so many learning opportunities!

It was pretty hard to drop him off knowing I would not have any contact with him for the entire week.

But they did do a good job of posting pictures once a day. I was a little bit of a stalker to the photo gallery!

He had a great time!!!

We were able to attend the graduation ceremony on the last day. 

We were all so proud of him!!

He made some great friends!

 

Selah's Sweet 16th

 

Look who is 16 years old!!

For Sweet Selah's Sweet 16th birthday, we couldn't think of any place sweeter than Beth Marie's Ice Cream Shop!

Selah truly is a sweetheart!! What an absolute joy to watch her grow from little girl, to young lady. 

Her ice cream melted way too fast - so we went to birthday portrait location #2.

Selah is still learning to drive. She has her permit, but doesn't quite have the hours to get her license yet. 

BUT, she has a car!! We were able to buy my parent's car from them and it is the perfect car for Selah! 

She is still tiny - 4 ft. 10 1/2 inches - and the pediatrician says that is all she is going to get....

But that's OK....she knows good things come in small packages. 

Plus, she makes up for it in personality! 

Selah is beautiful on the outside - but even more beautiful on the inside. She brings joy to all of those around her and just gets better, sweeter and lovelier each year!

We love you, Selah!
