After visiting the Alamo, we headed down to the River. The San Antonio Riverwalk is so beautiful! I have been many, many times, and each time I am caught up by it's charm and culture. This was the kids' first time in San Antonio, so we had to take a River Boat Ride!
Here are a few pictures I took along the way:
That evening was the Kings' Parade to celebrate Fiesta. Fiesta is a festival held every April in San Antonio to honor the memory of the Battles of the Alamo and San Jacinto. This float was taking a test run and that night would hold the Kings of the parade:
The architecture in Downtown San Anonio is beautiful, too. Many of the buildings are very, very old, yet very will preserved.
Gabe was very excited about the pigeons in San Antonio. He really, really wanted to catch one (I'm not sure what he would do with it if he did), but thought it was super fun just to chase them and make them fly.
It was a beautiful day - and there will be more San Antonio pictures to come!
