Last Thursday we had a blizzard!! We had a lot of snow yesterday, too. The weather really fooled us for the most part of March and Gabe, Selah and I were really enjoying it. I even put up my big coat! HA!! Winter is NOT over in Colorado!! So - we have made the most of it.
This is Gabe's big bowl of minty snow ice cream. Yes - we "harvest" the clean, fresh snow and make ice cream. Here is a recipe if anyone could use it:5 - 6 cups of CLEAN snow
1/2 c powdered sugar
1 c milk
1/4 tsp of vanilla
1/4 tsp of any other flavoring you desire - (we have done mint and coconut)
Mix together and enjoy!!
