Cowtown Half Marathon

On March 1st we all went to cheer Mig on as he ran his first half-marathon.

He ran with one of his best buddies - Noah!

There were 29,000 people that ran the Cowtown - that's a BUNCH of people!!

He started out with a smile....

But at the end of 13.1 miles his smile turned to a grimace!

His knee started hurting at mile 9 - but he finished!!

Denon Bible Church had a huge presence at the Cowtown. The GAP program ran in honor of Bo Rozelle -who was a GAP student last year that passed away just before Christmas.

The runners and families are here:

Just those that ran are here:

When Mig started running in 8th grade he struggled to get a mile in at all - and now he can run for 13.1 miles! That is perseverance and determination in action!!! We are SOOOOO proud of you, MIG!!!

Valentine's Day with a Twist

This year Byron and I celebrated Valentine's Day in Frisco. We ate a delicious meal at Del Frisco's steakhouse.

Then we went to Painting with a Twist!

It was a lot of fun and I think our paintings turned out beautifully!!

Medieval Times

On President's Day we took a trip to Dallas to go to Medieval Times!

Shawn Hodge (who was Byron's best man in our wedding) met us there. He and his girl friend were visiting Texas from New York.

We pass by the castle every time we go to Scottish Rite and I have always wanted to go!

It was so much fun! It was entertaining and the food was delicious!

Afterwards, Shawn and Erin came to our house and spent the night before their next Texas adventures. We really enjoyed the evening with them!
