Girl's Weekend!!

On the 27th of August one of my best friends in the world, Ruth, celebrated her 40th birthday!!

 

We were able to do a little get-away to celebrate her the weekend before her birthday! Her mom's cousin has a "barndominium" in the country that was perfect for a girl's weekend.

We got there Friday night and spent all day Saturday together laughing....

and enjoying each other's company!

It was a perfect weekend!

Working hard for the money...

On August 4th our local Chic-fil-A got a new smiling face!! Gabe is loving working there and especially enjoys taking drive-through orders. 

 We went to see him one evening when he was working at the counter and both Byron and I felt such pride at seeing him at work, but also so strange giving him our food order! Of course, I had to ask if I could take a picture. He has the perfect smile for a Chic-fil-A employee and seems to be a natural!!
