BIG News!
Our handsome oldest child.......
and beautiful middle child.......
Would like to introduce our youngest child!!
We are expecting our third blessing October 13th!!
This weekend we announced our news to the family by having the kids wear these shirts. Gabe's says Oldest Child and Selah's says Middle Child. We met Papa Serna and Ana at IHOP for brunch and told them there, then we headed out to Belton Lake where a lot of my side of the family was gathered to celebrate Granny's 80th birthday. Everyone was suprised and excited to hear the news!! We are also very excited! I am about 10 weeks pregnant and feeling very good!
Smoothies, kite flying and fishing
Friday's are smoothy days in the Serna house. I let the kiddos pick out what kind of fruit they want and I blend away! I forgot last week, so we did Smoothy day on Saturday and Daddy got to join the fun!!
Gabe and Daddy also got to fly a kite Friday evening! Daddy got home early and the wind was just right! So fun!!!

Selah's Digital Scrapbook
I found out about digital scrapbooking when Gabe was about 6 months old and some of his baby book is done that way. Now with 2 kids, I find it way easier to do the digital scrapbooking rather than pulling out all of my supplies. I have now finished Selah's baby book which is mostly digital and have sent they layouts out to be printed at www.scrapbooksplease.com (who sells 12x12 prints for $1! WoW!!) . They should be in any day! So here is a small sampling of the layouts from Selah's first year of life. Enjoy!!

Bubbles
Yesterday was a perfect spring day! Warm weather, the birds singing, and the kids out on the balcony blowing bubbles! A moment that makes a mommy want to freeze time - knowing I can't actually do that, I did the next best thing. I got out the camera! Here is a little freeze in a perfect moment from me!
Papaw's 80th Birthday
Papaw was very specific on how he wanted to celebrate his 80th birthday. 1. The family to all go to church 2. Breakfast out together. So that is what we did for Valentine's Day/Papaw's 80th birthday! Momma had contacted members of Papaw's churches and threw him a Card Shower - every card speaking nothing but nice thoughts and wishes. He looked so happy as Momma read each one to him over over our Mexican Breakfasts.
Papaw had a card for each of the great-grandbabies for Valentine's Day, too.
Uncle Mike called while we were all gathered together - here is Rachel talking with him.
