Gabe's Superhero Birthday Party!!

Gabe celebrated his 4th birthday with a SuperHero Party!! He invited everyone to come dressed as thier favortie superheros, had superhero decorations and even a villian that the superheros had to capture! What a fun day!!

Gabe loves costumes - so Aunt Barb delivered! These (above and below) are part of his present.

Gabe decided to come as Super Why - the star of a PBS show with the same title. Super Why has the "Power to Read". If you have preschoolers - check it out! Great show!

Gabe is 4 years old!

Wow! Is it true? Gabe is already 4? How does that happen??? 4 years ago our little blessing was born into this world and made us parents. He is full of such joy, spunkiness, and love. What a sweet boy he is!

Colorado Pictures

Before we left Colorado a sweet friend of mine followed us out to my favorite view of Pikes Peak and took some pictures for us. This trail has appeared in many of my professional work and a few of my blog posts, too! I'm not sharing too many of our pics from this -they will be Christmas Card surprises!!

We are so thankful for our time in Colorado. I think we all learned and grew while we were there and we were soooo incredibly blessed by the friendships we made.

Halloween Costumes!

This Halloween is going to be so much fun! We are around family and the kids look adorable! Gabe is going to be a Transformer and Selah is an adorable Ladybug! Sooooooo Sweet!

Pumpkin Carving

GiGi decided to buy Gabe and Selah little pumpkins to carve. They had so much fun! Rachel and Daddy helped. They were both very proud of their Jack-O-Lanterns!

We roasted the seeds that afternoon, too! Mmmmmm!

In Texas...

We have moved back to Texas! We got here on October 14th...Byron has a new job as one of the Laboratory Managers at Baylor All Saints Medical Hospital. We are very excited about this new opportunity! Here we are stretching our legs as we crossed into Texas.

The Cutlass

Byron has wanted a muscle car to restore for as long as I have known him. His desire is even greater no that Gabe is big enough to start helping. After searching Craigslist for months, dreaming, Byron found a deal he just couldn't pass up. So here is Byron's new project car - and Gabe thinks it is the coolest thing ever!

The engine is good, the outside needs a little work - but the inside is gutted. So Gabe and Byron have their work cut out for them - but a LOT of father/son memories to make!!
